Moorish Reclamation & National Development Initiative
The Clock of Destiny Reclamation Process is a structured civic initiative rooted in the framework of the Moorish Great Seal Islamic Federal Government, as introduced by the late Joseph Dumas Bey in New York City for expansion across state regions.
This initiative represents a renewed and disciplined effort to organize, develop, and empower Moorish Americans through self-governance, economic development, and national identity restoration.
An earlier effort, initiated in Philadelphia, brought together Moorish Americans from various states. While the foundation was strong, misunderstandings of the Moorish paradigm limited its long-term success. Today, with increased economic pressure and systemic inequality affecting our people—identified as Black, African American, and West Indian—this work is not only relevant, but necessary.
The purpose of this initiative is to:

The Clock of Destiny Moorish Great Seal Islamic Federal Government is:
Religious practice, including Islamism, is respected and accepted. However, participation in this body is based on civic responsibility and national development, not religion.
To participate in leadership, governance, or national development roles, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Recognized Moorish bodies in Chicago (North or South Side), or 2. Under the authority of Grand Sheik Robert Stone-El (North Carolina)
All individuals seeking to hold office, rank, or responsibility must:

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
Possess a verified Moorish surname (Bey or El), or
Provide documented proof of nationality reclamation and birthright, or
Complete the Clock of Destiny educational and civic process
