Overview
The Clock of Destiny Reclamation Process is a structured civic initiative rooted in the framework of the Moorish Great Seal Islamic Federal Government, as introduced by the late Joseph Dumas Bey in New York City for expansion across state regions.
This initiative represents a renewed and disciplined effort to organize, develop, and empower Moorish Americans through self-governance, economic development, and national identity restoration.
An earlier effort, initiated in Philadelphia, brought together Moorish Americans from various states. While the foundation was strong, misunderstandings of the Moorish paradigm limited its long-term success. Today, with increased economic pressure and systemic inequality affecting our people—identified as Black, African American, and West Indian—this work is not only relevant, but necessary.

The purpose of this initiative is to:
Establish a structured system of Moorish self-government
Address economic, social, and political challenges

Unite qualified Moors under a cooperative national framework
Advance the program of Prophet Noble Drew Ali
Align with the economic vision of C.M. Bey

Build international relationships with nations of the earth
Develop economic security and institutional stability
As expressed by the late Marcus Bey:

Civic Status & Structure
The Clock of Destiny Moorish Great Seal Islamic Federal Government is:
A civic body (non-religious)
Inclusive of all sincere Moorish Americans
Grounded in cultural, national, and governmental principles
Focused on economic empowerment and structured leadership
Religious practice, including Islamism, is respected and accepted. However, participation in this body is based on civic responsibility and national development, not religion.
Eligibility & Qualifications
To participate in leadership, governance, or national development roles, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Primary Qualification Path
You may qualify if you possess:
A Moorish Nationality Card issued by:
1. Recognized Moorish bodies in Chicago (North or South Side), or 2. Under the authority of Grand Sheik Robert Stone-El (North Carolina)
Demonstrated character of a faithful Moorish American
Education, skills, or professional experience aligned with nation-building
Alternative Qualification Path (Clock of Destiny Track)
If you do not yet possess a Moorish Nationality Card, you may qualify by:
- Completing the Clock of Destiny College Lessons
- Fulfilling all integrated educational and civic requirements
- Submitting a formal request for review and evaluation
Leadership Standards
All individuals seeking to hold office, rank, or responsibility must:
- Meet government and leadership standards
- Demonstrate discipline, integrity, and service
- Align with the principles of the Moorish Divine Movement
- Be committed to economic development and national organization

Nationality & Identity Requirement
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
Possess a verified Moorish surname (Bey or El), or
Provide documented proof of nationality reclamation and birthright, or
Complete the Clock of Destiny educational and civic process
